Step 1: Unbox Your Trezor Device
Make sure your Trezor device is sealed and untampered. Inside the box, you'll find the device, USB cable, recovery seed cards, and a user guide. Do not use the device if the seal is broken.
Step 2: Connect to Trezor.io/Start
Using your computer, go to trezor.io/start. This is the official setup page for all Trezor devices. Select your device model (Trezor Model One or Trezor Model T) to begin the setup process.
Step 3: Install Trezor Suite
Trezor Suite is the official app for managing your crypto securely. Download it for desktop or use the web version. It allows you to send, receive, and trade coins with full privacy and security.

When you first connect your device, you’ll be prompted to install the latest firmware. This ensures your device is secure and running the newest features. Always download firmware directly through Trezor Suite.
Step 5: Create a Wallet and Backup
Once firmware is installed, you can create a new wallet. You’ll be given a 12 or 24-word recovery seed — this is your only backup. Write it down and store it securely. Never share it or store it online.
Step 6: Start Managing Your Crypto
Your wallet is now ready! You can send and receive cryptocurrencies, track your portfolio, connect to Web3 apps, and more — all with the security of Trezor hardware.
